Social Program

During the social event, an excursion to the beautiful city of Saint-Émilion is planned.

Saint-Émilion is a famous medieval city in Aquitaine, located 35 km northeast of Bordeaux in the Libourne area.Saint-Émilion is one of the principal red wine areas of Bordeaux along with the Médoc, Graves and Pomerol.

The gala dinner of ECL'2016 will be held in one of the oldest winerys of the Bordeaux area. Château Bouscaut is one of the Grands Cru Classé of Graves and is well-recognized for both its white and red wines, in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Sophie Lurton has been running Bouscaut along with her husband Laurent Cogombles for over 20 years. The place is located about 10 km south of Bordeaux in Cadaujac, a village on the left bank of the Garonne River.
